ediaMajik—formerly DocuMajik Promotional Services—was founded in September 1993 as a journalism-, photojournalism- and copy writing- based business, then quickly expanded to provide desktop publishing and graphic design services the following year. MediaMajik added 3D modeling/animation and Web design/development to its service array in the mid-1990s, followed by incorporating multimedia authoring, digital compositing and advanced-level photo-retouching capabilities in the late '90s. Digital visual effects were introduced to the service array in 2001.
